CMC Communications, LLC 25-Year Limited Certified Warranty
This 25-Year Limited Certified Warranty provided by CMC Communications, LLC covers only copper and fiber optic cabling systems installed by CMC Communications, including Category 5e, Category 6, Category 6A, coaxial, and fiber optic cabling.

CMC Communications warrants that all covered cabling and connectivity components used in the Horizontal and Backbone cabling will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of twenty-five (25) years from the date of installation when installed by CMC Communications, LLC. This warranty is not transferable to subsequent owners or occupants.

CMC Communications further warrants that its installation practices and workmanship will adhere to all BICSI and applicable electrical code standards. Any defects in workmanship or installation that arise during the warranty period will be repaired or corrected by CMC Communications at no cost to the end user.

The warranty period and coverage details shall be stated on the front of the Certified Warranty Certificate provided at the time of installation.

Warranty Conditions

For this warranty to remain valid:

  1. All cabling and components must be new, unused, and installed exclusively by CMC Communications, LLC.

  2. The installation must comply with BICSI standards, local electrical codes, and CMC Communications’ installation specifications.

  3. All installation and maintenance records must be properly maintained and made available to CMC Communications upon request.

  4. All warranty claims must be submitted to CMC Communications or its authorized manufacturer representative within five (5) days of discovering the alleged defect.

  5. CMC Communications must be granted free access to inspect the system to verify warranty eligibility.

Any moves, additions, or changes to the covered cabling system performed by anyone other than CMC Communications will void this warranty in its entirety.

Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  1. Products or systems not installed by CMC Communications.

  2. Products not supplied directly by CMC Communications or its approved channels.

  3. Products outside the scope of structured cabling systems (such as network electronics, patch cords, work area components, or user devices).

  4. Damage caused by improper use, abuse, neglect, acts of God, accidents, or unauthorized alterations.

  5. Any noncompliant or improper system design, installation, or maintenance performed by third parties.

  6. Normal wear and tear from regular use.

Warranty Limitations

This warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

CMC Communications’ total liability under this warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the products and installation. Under no circumstances shall CMC Communications be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits or business interruption.

Warranty Claim Procedure

  1. The end user must first rule out all non-cabling-related causes before submitting a warranty claim.

  2. All claims must be made directly to CMC Communications, LLC.

  3. CMC Communications will inspect, test, and verify the system using approved diagnostic equipment before any repair or replacement is performed.

  4. Valid claims will result in repair or replacement of the affected cabling components and restoration of system performance at no additional cost.

  5. Invalid claims may result in inspection or testing fees billed to the end user.

Jurisdiction

This warranty shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Texas or the appropriate federal courts therein.
